White German Shepherd Wolf Mix
blue merel german shepherd malamute cross?
i have a blue merel german shepherd malamute cross and just wondering if anyone has one or seen one that is all grey . to be honest he is about 18 months old now and he looks more like a wolf because his whole body is a light grey colour and he has black patches and he has one blue eye and one marble eye (mix of white blue and black) he is such a stragne looking dog.
another strang thing whenever i am watching a programme on tv about wolves he goes mad head butting the tv and following the wolf across the tv screen with his nose he doesnt do this any other time even if a dog is barking or hallowing on the tv just when wolves are on the tv it is the weirdest thing.
anyone have any answers??
oh and he has a really long neck and lowers it just like wolves do plus he loves showing his teeth while he is playing i heard somwhere both these things are wolf trates
abigail he looked very much like that picture when he was a pup but is light grey in colour with lots of black patches
As neither breed carries the merling factor, then the dog cannot be a first cross. However, what you may be seeing is black guard hairs from the “agouti” strain. Hard to tell without a photo.
