Dog Training 8 Weeks

What is the consequence of not training your dog?
If you get an 8 week old pup and never train him. Just let him do what he wishes without any restrictions. How will the personality of such dog turn out when he grows like 2 years old? Wouldn’t the pet learn things on his own the way humans do?
Human babies learn from the people around them.
Your dog will not respect you. He will be high strung. Probably is not likely to listen. Won’t be potty trained.
