freezing cold weather and toilet training a shih tzu?
ive had puppy now last two weeks and ive not been able to toilet train my puppy due to high winds and rain
i was using training pads just as a put on but realise this was holding him back so went to using out doors again
i know about how to give him a treat when he does a wee wee or a poo and praise
but what am i suppose to do its freezing cold with temp of 4c with winds again and rain
and in uk they say temperatures gunna drop again with snow
poor thing comes back in house wet through im wet through
any ideas in what to do help him through this process
the rain coat is a good idea
i do have to grim and bare it just have wrap up lol
That is my next hurdle to jump, LOL!
Winds: my Tzu likes the winds, but I am very careful to make sure nothing gets in her eyes and to check them when we go back inside; I am thinking of getting those goggles for dogs (Ha Ha Ha, but seriously, yes).
Rain: We have been lucky. We’ve been able to take her out when the rain stops and before it starts up again; I bought a raincoat for her but haven’t used it yet (it’s pink) and also a doggy umbrella, “Dry Bones”, from Target.com (haven’t tried it ‘coz it hasn’t been delivered to me yet).
Snow: no snow where I live, but try booties. Always check her paws after being outside for any debri and clean them of any chemicals that she might have stepped on in snow (salt, broken glass, etc)
I also have a jacket/sweater for her that I bought for $2.50 at our local Target. She is worth it 
Try thinking outside the box. There are a lot of sites on the web, especially in the UK, for dog accessories, so have fun. XD
