Puppy Training Ideas
Bad biting, growling, snapping, whining, tearing up everything puppy… I need training ideas…?
My 14 week old retriever mix puppy drives us crazy!!! Right now I know he’s teething and all but he has a bunch of toys. He tries to tear up everything. Yesterday he ate a piece of the wall. 
Then when we lock him up at night in his kennel he cries and whines ALL night long!! And the kennel isn’t too little, it’s rather large actually. Also, when we walk by him he sometimes tries to snap and nip at our legs… sometimes he draws blood!!
We’ve tried using a water bottle and spraying him when he’s bad but… it only deters him for a brief second. Also, we’ve tried the nose smacking thing (not hard) but that causes him to growl and nip out hands.
Anyone have idea … especially with the biting legs and kennel crying prolems??
His crate is in the kitchen downstairs normally but over the past weekend we went on a trip and his crate was in the room with us all night and he still whined and whined and whined….
We had a similar problem, but we got rid of it by taking our puppy for walks. You need to walk him, so he can get rid of some of that frustration and built up energy. It really works.
