Puppy Leash Training
Puppy leash training?
I have a rottweiler puppy, just under 6 months old. He is fairly good on his lead to start with, he pulls occassionally, but i walk backwards abit when he does and he stops and walks by my side again.
The problem is when he spots another dog. He pulls like crazy towards the dog, and no amount of me trying to stop him seems to work. He is submissive when he gets to the dog, he just simply cannot wait to get there. He also jumps up at people on his walks too.
How do i stop this pulling / jumping behaviour? Thanks.
honestly ive been training my dog by watching the dog whisperer on net geo. its kind of hard to show you in words so i would recommend looking it up on youtube. it will be easier for you to understand it better. im not a proffesional trainer but like i said i use some of the techniques the dog whisperer uses and they work for me. if that dont help then you can look up some obidience training classes.but some classes can be expensive.
