dog scared of the sound of pedi paws?
I bought that pedipaws thing 2 days ago in the store and I tried to trim my dogs nails with it but she gets freaked out by the sound of it. I did slowly try to let her get used to the sound but that didn’t work out so well cause she still got freaked out by it. So is there anything I can do to make her get used to the sound of it or not be so scared of it.
My dog is also scared of the pedipaws! What we try to do it turn it on and give her time to get used to the sound. Also, fiddle with her paws and nails whenever you can to get her used to you manipulating them. Use tons of praise and encouragement when using the pedipaws. Use treats if necessary to distract her and put her at ease (don’t rely on the treats, you should easy your dog off of them as you go along). I’ve given up and just take my dog to PetSmart and let them deal with her. She gets hyterical!
