list of german shepherd mixes
What are the pros and cons of a purebred Labrador?

just wondering! I just took a breed selector quiz and the top breed on the list was a Labrador!

I have a Labrador/Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix!

How are the males and females different?
There are no white Labs just yellow that can look whitish but it just a light yellow!

My lab mix is a fox red color(kinda like peanut butter)
I don’t mind that they are large dogs as I love Large dogs and always have!
I don’t plan on using the quiz to get a Labrador because when its time to get another dog will be long from now and my mind will change from breed to breed. But I do love labs just as much as other breeds.
My dogs are both Velcro dogs! Wherever I am they are!

Mine came from the pound, so I can’t “guarentee” he is purebred…but it’s pretty obvious he is.

Pros: Lives up to the retriever name. If husband and I were hunters of appropriate game…this dog would be amazing to take along. But the nonstop game of fetch with a ball is still quite fun with him in the yard.

Plenty of energy. I was a runner prior to being pregnant. Best jogging partner is that one that never tires and encourages you to keep going…that’s a lab.

“Velcro dogs” I’m never lonely with a lab around. Ever. My mix will often go take naps in the crate by himself…my lab prefers to curl up at my feet. He even accompanies me to the bathroom…

Cons: All of the above could be considered a drawback. Sometimes he “retrieves” my cell phone, dirty laundry, or other inappropriate object. Sometimes he’s literally like the energizer bunny. Sometimes it would be nice to go the restroom by myself. Lol, but these things don’t bother me that much. (Don’t know about male/female…only have male dogs.)
