German Shepherd Size Chart

How can I tell how big my puppy will be full-grown?

I am looking into adopting a puppy from a local shelter and because the parents are unknown for the puppy, it’s hard to tell her breed. She is 10 weeks old (born Jan. 7) and weighs about 9-10lbs. She definitely has some German Shepherd in her (mostly in the face) but whatever else is hard to tell. One of the volunteers at the shelter said that by her paw and joint size she most likely won’t be over fifty 50lbs. Does anyone know if there is a general chart to gauge dog size?

It’s hard to tell how large she will be full grown. If you live somewhere with a weight limit I wouldnt risk it, I’ve had puppies that I’ve fostered that were smaller than that at 10 weeks end up HUGE. Unless you see the parents it’s really tough to tell. Congrats on getting a puppy though!
