Dog Training Oakland
I want to know if any one knows what kind of dog mine might be?
We got a dog a few years ago and my dad and i always thought that she was a mutt. Then some one came over and said that it was an actual breed, might have been a mix of some kind. She has really long shaggy coarse hair and she’s a medium size dog, not very big. She’s good with kids, cats and other barn yard animals and loves people, yet knows when to be protective. She hunts rodents better than our cats and is always on the lookout for smaller animals like possum, raccoons, skunks and stuff like that. She was very easy to train, my sister and i trained her to sit, shake, lay down, and rollover within about an hour, no exaggeration and she fetches, the normal dog tricks. My dad loves this dog and wants to know what kind she is so he can get another one. Airdale, but not purebred, something else in there. Cairn Terriers are very short legged and close to the ground,so you can rule that breed out. Hard to say for sure because of her haircut.
