Dog Breeds Evolution

dog breeds evolution
Do we owe alot of our evolution to dogs? Early man followed wolf packs, learned from them and eventually?

befriended, and tamed dogs. What is your ideal breed of dog also? I really like Collies.
Hi Ipagnus, when I mentioned early man, I should have said early humans. Lets not make this nice question into a He vs. She. Both played a vital role in early human development. So about not giving you 10 points though. That is just not going to happen.

I feel that charaterists of anything or anyone that live side by side start to appear in each other its the old nature versus nearcher u only have to look at ferrel children to see it working, and i do believe early man would not have the knowledge and hunting skills of a dog that has the extra ability of scent so man could learn of the where abouts of particular prey and their dens/hides and feeding habits usually unknown to them by following the pack. Also when thinking of some deseases and unsafe waters the signs would show in the dogs to alert man some tribes today still use dogs as an aid to raising their own children too without washing facilities and nappies the female dogs already programed to clean up their offspring clean the human babies up just the same.Dogs also have more samina agility and balance with four legs for getting into nooks and crannies and thick growth which saves man alot of time and energy searching.I do love big breeds i like the knowledge of their ability to do real damage to you but their loyalty and trust disallows, it although this can go horribly wrong when the owners are not able or responsible, and once again mans cruelty is seen with the servere deformitys it finds pleasing to the eye and breed from till the perfect mutation is got.Such as the foreshortened face that causes breathing problems the thick hair growths which cause over heating, poor vision, ear infections and such, and the various bull terrier breeds where the large head is desired that caused birthing problems injury and even death to the mother.oops sorry but animals is my ‘pet’ subject i can go on hun lol xx
